ARIZONA- Coconino NF Announces Forest Plan Revision Meetings for February

The Coconino National Forest has announced the dates for a second round of public meetings to review and discuss the recently released draft revised forest plan and accompanying Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS). These meetings are being held as a part of the 90-day public comment period for the plan and DEIS, which ends March 20, 2014. Comments provided during this time will be used to finalize the plan. Meetings are scheduled for the following times and locations:

TnT Customs Raises $1,200 For BRC At Rocktoberfest Event

CHEYENNE, WY (February 10, 2014) -- TNT Customs, long-standing BlueRibbon Coalition (BRC) supporters, hosted "Rocktoberfest" on the western slope of Colorado in Grand Junction, October 11-13, 2013.  This fund-raiser four-wheeling adventure has a select attendance and includes a wide range of fun things to do based in the town KOA.  This year's donation was $1200 to help save trails and support BRC.

ARIZONA- FS Personnel To Discuss Motorized Use In Verde Valley At Open House Event

Coconino National Forest personnel will attend an upcoming Coconino Trail Riders open house event focused on motorized trail use in the Verde Valley area. The public is invited to attend the event on Sunday, February 9, 2014, from 12:00 - 4:00 p.m. at D&K Cycle located at 1752 S. State Route 260 in Cottonwood, Arizona. Forest Service personnel will be present to answer questions and discuss current and future motor use on trails, as well as the Travel Management Rule and the proposed Cornville single-track loop.

JACKSON, WY (February 5, 2014) -- Winter started Thanksgiving weekend in the Big Horn Mountains, the site for the Eleventh Annual Bear Lodge Bad Boys Riding Club annual (BBRC) dinner party and season kick off! In attendance at the event, hosted by Roberta and Rick Young--owners of Bear Lodge--were over 300 snowmobilers from all over the region.

BENICIA, CA (February 3, 2014) -- Cycle Gear, the country's largest retailer of motorcycle apparel and accessories, pledges $10,000 to the BlueRibbon Coalition (BRC) in support of the organization's efforts to ensure continued access to public lands.

The donation highlights Cycle Gear's total fiscal commitment to the BRC Trail Access Fund for 2014.  This is the 12th year in a row in which Cycle Gear matches club and rider donations -dollar for dollar- to the Fund (up to $10,000 per year).

As a founding member of both the Colorado Snowmobile Association and the land-access groupBlueRibbonCoalition,Welch has been actively involved in grass roots snowmobiling for 45 years. WYOMING - BLM Pinedale Seeks Public Comments on Boulder Landscape and Transportation Plan

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Pinedale Field Office is seeking public comments on the environmental assessment (EA) for the Boulder Landscape and Transportation Plan (BLTP). The BLM proposes to renew 16 livestock grazing permits for 18 allotments in the 100,600 acre BLTP area south and east of Boulder, Wyo. The BLM also proposes to develop and  implement a travel management plan for the same area; an estimated 320 miles of trails and roads currently intersect it, and new ones are regularly being created
