ringling to maudlow trip, any advice?

Thinking about doing the ringling to maudlow drive in a few weeks, any advice?

Is it better one direction vs the other?

Should I wait till little later in April?

Never done it assuming it is mostly snow and some mud.

Any advice would be great, thanks

Good news on the Elk harvest!
I wish I could get a call like that............I had a dry year, no elk for me.

No gophers out when i was there.
I got called in on a late season elk damage hunt on the lane property.
Got me a nice big cow.
I could only go about four miles south of ringling, before drifts got nasty.

Iwas on the ringling end three weeks ago hunting and still lots of snowdrifts.

There is a club run this month up there. Not sure if it has been posted yet, but I think it is next weekend. I won't make it.

I have never done it, but word is " take extra fuel".

Somebody will chime in on the schedule of that run.
