My Ride (M4x4A Member Vehicles) ADD YOUR RIG!!!
Looking back through the old photos and post on here, it looks to have been several years since many posted info on their rigs here on m4x4. Time to change that. Come-on folks, your proud of ‘em and we all love talking about our rides so here is your chance. Post a brief description (or a not so brief one if you like) and a photo or 3. Let’s see what you have.
My Jeep:
As some of you have already noticed, I have a new Jeep. I traded my black 2008 JK Rubicon (named BART by Linda Ellison) for a 2012 model. As far as the running gear goes, the new JK is the same as the old one except for the engine and transmission. The New Penstar v6 has about 80 more horses and the new 5 speed auto has considerably lower gearing. That new combination is great.
Of course I added the AEV bumper and 9.5Ti winch from my old Jeep and have gone with taller tires. I just put some 34” TOYOs on the beast along with a AEV 2” pod kit. Other than that, it is stock. So far it goes where I aim it and I am enjoying the extra horsepower on the highway.
I ride with both F4Ws and CFWDA. and every once in a while I ride with members of the Mountaineers.
Not ready for wheeling yet but real close.

To add pictures (to a post): When you are making a post, look below the “text” section and you should see a blue heading: “File attachments” This is a pull down so click on it once. That will show you a spot with a “Browse” button to the right of it… hit the “Browse” button and choose a photo from on your computer. Remember…really large photos change the size of the page so if you know how you may wish to RESIZE the photos before posting…more on that later. Once you have chosen the photo you want to upload, click the “ATTACH” button. It will then upload your photo. (but you will not see it yet). You may then do the same process again for each photo. After you have all your photo and text done, click the “SAVE” button. AND WALLAAA! Pics in posts… lol
Posting photos to the GALERY is a little different.
AND SORRY (not really) BRIAN...JUST COULD NOT HELP BUT POST THAT FINAL PIC...
I did see that winch fly off Dennis's front bumper and clear up over the top of the cab. That was IMPRESSIVE.

I guess we as the CC4X4 need to update our photo gallery on here as well.
Been a long time since I posted. Used to have a Ranger and a Dodge. Still have the Ranger, but upgraded the Dodge to a half ton Silverado:
2005 Silverado 1500 W/T
4.8 V8 Auto, Leveled, CAI, Flowmaster, Bilsteins all around, Cooper Discoverer AT3 in 285/70/17's, Custom built center console, Apex topper with yakima cross bars, theres a lot more just can't think of it all at the moment. Upcoming stuff is a custom built rear bumper with spare tire carrier, sliders, tint and building a custom bed with lots of storage.
First pic is the most recent. Just did a 1.5 inch body lift on it to help clear the 285's. Thinking of heading up to Mt. Marston this weekend just to check it out. I'll get more action shots then!
