Membership?
I would be interested in joining the Skyliners if there really is an active club in Polson. I am not familiar with any active clubs in the area. I have noticed that there are no posts in a long time here. Is this not a very active club? Not active on the computer? Help! I would love to be involved.[addsig]
The Skyliners are active. Just very quiet on line. We meet in Polson at the VFW hall on the first Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm. We've already had our club event for January. We would be happy to see you.[addsig]
Can you tell me a little about the club? What kind of activities do you do? Do you do trail rides? Family events? Families welcome? Are there any vehicle requirements? I have stock as a rock 2001 Dodge 1500 Ram 4X4. I am currently on the prowl for a project vehicle to make into a hardcore trail rig, but it will be a while before it is done. What are the membership dues, requirements, etc.?
Thanks for your time,
Eric[addsig]

Another person who'd like to know more about the club... I'm in Lakeside with a pretty much stock '04 Ram 4X4 and a '46 Willy's 4X4 P/U project I'll be starting in spring...
Hi guys, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner, Rob St. Clair here, President of the Skyliners 4X4 Club.As Joe said, we are an active club, Meeting the first Tue of the month at the upstairs meeting room at the VFW in Polson. We are a family oriented club and mostly a trailriding club. We try to hold at least 1 trailride each month. Our members drive a wide variety of vehicles from highly modified to stock and everything in between. We do have some requirements for membership, we require prospevtive members to attend 3 events, 1 must be a trailride, 1 must be a meeting and the third can be whatever, then the membership of the club votes on your acceptance or not based on the ethics displayed at the functions you have participated in.As to the dues, they are likely to change at the annual meeting in april as the dues to the M4X4A are going to go up and we must do the same to stay afloat, but they are currently $25.00 per year, due and payable at the April meeting. Hope I have answered your questions, if not contact me directly at family4x@polson.net Thanks for showing an interest, hope to see you soon.
Rob
As Joe and Rob said, we are active but not much on line. That can change if more members come on line. Come to the next meeting or send me a PM me with your e-mail and I will add you too our newsletter guest list. Also, take a look at our photo gallery. I will try to add some recent photos...

We just had a snow run last Sunday (17th). We meet on the first Tuesday of each month at the VFW, 7:00 pm. Our next run should be next month. I don't know where or when yet.
Send me a pm with your e-mail and I will add it to our guest list for the newsletter.

Just an FYI, the Family4X is not a Toyota, I drive a Red 69 Jeep Jeepster Comando.
Rob
Rob,
Sorry for mistaking someone elses ride for yours. I should be able to make it to the April SKyliners Meeting. Do you have an engine stand I could borrow? I had to invest in a new cam and gear set I don't want to be puting it back together on the floor of my shop. Bellhousing and all my straight six weighs about 750lbs so around 700lbs with just the head and oil pan on. If you or anyone you know has one they could loan me let me know at 406-261-9279.
Thanks,
Lee
Lee, Stop by my shop m-f 8:30-5:30. I can probably scare up a stand you can use. No problem on the mistaken ride, I just wanted to clarify
