Don Gordon Status 05/07/2013

Here is a note I got from Kathy just a little bit ago concerning Don Gordon's status:

Just wanted to send a quick update as I know people are concerned. Maybe you can share with the 4x4 community. We are still in Great Falls Benefis Hospital. Don has several injuries that are being addressed by some of the best specialist in Montana. He has had major reconstruction on his face but it is healing well. The eye specialist is optimistic he will have recovery in his left eye. He is still undergoing tests from many doctors and keeping them all straight has been a ride like no other I am glad we are here as the care has been top notch. We hope to have a date soon when he can go home. His strength has saved his life and we are so thankful for his strong will. He just keeps saying let’s just get this rodeo over. I hope this answers some questions. thank you for your prayers.

The calls and well wishes are in the hundreds. It is humbling to know how much support is there. Please ask people to call Don's phone 459-2574/ He is really enjoying listening to well wishes on voicemail.

Kathy

4xFORUM (SEE THE ATTACHMENT BELOW)

Here is the 4XFORUM. JUST CLICK ON THE "ATTACHEMNT" JUST BELOW THIS. It is in PDF form so can be printed or downloaded.

http://www.m4x4a.org/sites/default/files/4XForum_May2013.pdf

Special thanks to Stacy Osborne for producing this. It is not her job to do this extent in producing such a nice forum so PLEASE tell her "Thank You" for the extra effort, time and work. Let her know you appreciate it.

Here is a note from Stacy:

Attached a pdf of the 4XForum. What? Yes, I will be trying to do the 4XForum, again, monthly. I hope to have it out near the beginning of each month. Items, photos, events, etc. will need to be submitted by the 25th of the previous month. SO... May 25th will be the deadline for June news. If something comes up that is urgent, get me the information, and I will send it out. Keep in mind, I do have a full time job and life, and I do not look at my email regularly in the evenings or on weekends, so try to plan ahead. This will be an electronic newsletter only. If you know of a member who does not have email, please be kind and share it with them. As a suggestion, make it a club project to print a couple copies to share with your members at the meeting!

We welcome a new President - Destry Walker, of the Mountaineers and Vice President - Richard Hiltz of Frontier. We thank Tom Mandera and Dick Riebe for their years of service as Past presidents. Your time and effort did not go unnoticed!

The minutes are printed in the 4Xforum, and they are quite long! You don't have to read them all in one sitting, but a lot was discussed!

Also, one of our long time members, and a past president, Don Gordon, was injured in an accident at his business last evening, May 2. A pickup truck crashed into his business, pinning him. I wish Don a speedy recovery, and I'll be keeping his wife Kathy, and sons in my thoughts and prayers.
